Launceston Community Development Trust (CDT) has been set up by a group of local residents and businesses. We’re keen to develop, and own in perpetuity, a range of different community assets. Our vision: an inclusive, affordable and sustainable Launceston that’s better for everyone.
Our first project is an exciting one: an 100% affordable housing scheme near the town centre. A private family trust with both historic and current connections with the town have asked Launceston CDT to propose a viable and sensitive development scheme that will benefit the town for many years to come.
We are working with national social investment specialist Resonance (itself headquartered in Launceston), who have experience providing affordable housing across the South West.
